Annie Herring (born Annie Ward September 22, 1945) is one of the pioneers of the Jesus music genre, later to be called Contemporary Christian music. She was a member of the trio 2nd Chapter of Acts, for which she wrote most of the songs and sang lead and harmony vocals with her brother Matthew Ward and sister Nelly (Ward) Greisen. During her musical career with the 2nd Chapter of Acts from 1973 to 1988, she also recorded solo albums. 1989: Flying Lessons (Live Oak Records). 1991: Waiting for My Ride to Come (Live Oak). 1992: There's a Stirring (Sparrow). 1993: All That I Am (Sparrow).

Waiting for My Rocket to Come is the debut studio album by the American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, released on October 15, 2002, by Elektra Records. It was his only studio release on that label before he moved to Atlantic Records. By December 2003, the album had sold 500,000 copies, prompting Entertainment Weekly to dub Mraz "The winner of 2003’s sensitive singer-songwriter sweepstakes".

Since the 2002 release of his stunning inaugural album, "Avoiding the Circus", Fort Worth, TX native Collin Herring has been touted as the "torchbearer for alt-country" by Miles of Music, and "the next big thing" by the Dallas Observer. Described by HARP magazine as "one hell of a debut", "Avoiding the Circus" won Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards in 2003 for Album of the Year, Best Country Album and Songwriter of the Year.

The album is clearly build around the idea of listening from start to finish; five of the fourteen tracks are branching tracks, and as a result feel out of place on a shuffle playthrough. This works both for and against the quartet however; although it does certainly lend a helping hand to the album as a whole, it feels more unneeded than anything. One of these tracks, 'and fade away when morning came', really tends to drag, despite its obvious intentions of transition. However, on the outside looking in, Waiting For Morning To Come really struggles to do anything new or interesting. Songs like 'Suddenly, I Was Alone', a five-minute instrumental, struggles to achieve anything to warrant the excessive runtime. Much like the interim tracks, the entire album really struggles to find what it wants to be.
