Future (stylized on digital releases as FUTURE) is the eponymous fifth studio album by American rapper Future. It was released on February 17, 2017, by A1 Recordings, Freebandz and Epic Records. The album features production by Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, DJ Khaled, The Beat Bully, Southside, alongside production from other members of 808 Mafia such as DY, Fuse, Tarentino and Tre Pounds. The album was supported by three singles: "Draco", "Mask Off" and "Extra Luv".

Imagine the Future is essentially what I had hoped the last few Garbage albums would be, sonically interesting, sexy and artistic. McGuire is both alluring and just a little bit dangerous, which Shirley Manson ceased being after their sophomore album. The tightrope balance of rock, dance and electro-pop is well executed, and made even more of a feat once the live puppet show becomes an extra juggled ball

Spores, spores – what is that? Mushrooms? Mold? . Imagine the Future knocked me out. For weeks. But it’s such a consistently excellent album, it’s a mystery to me why it’s not sticking to the ribs, pulling this disappearing act. Maybe those Spores got to my brain and are laying low ‘ til it’s the right moment for world conquest. Mushrooms with that veal? Sound The sound is crucial here.
