Killing Peace' isn't technically a bad album, but it's hard to recognize as Onslaught. They even started at a disadvantage because 1) they haven't released an album since 1989, and 2) they never had a recognizable style in the first place. So they come up with a tight, mechanized modern thrash album that resembles newer Exodus and Testament. The album is built of generic riffs, and the modern touches are sickening (muffled guitar intros, too-clean production, "Pain"). Sy Keeler's vocals are the biggest let-down

Onslaught's sound on this 2007 release is best described as '80s-style thrash metal/speed metal with a strong Slayer influence, a healthy appreciation of Judas Priest and hints of death metal.
