Puterea muzicii is a music studio album recording by PROGRESIV TM (Heavy Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1977 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Second album of the band from 1977 - Puterea muzicii (The power of the music), released at our famous and only label from the '70's occupied with music bussines Electrecord (still very much alive these days), didn't manage to get any big response from progressive movement from my country.

In original, it all started when two of the newly-defunct(at that time) band Progresiv TM(Coradini and Herdina) met the members of Roșu și Negru and they started to write a rock-poem called 'Zburătorul' inspired by the epic poem of Ion Heliade Rădulescu, but unfortunately, the words were not accepted by the censorship and had to be rewritten by Daniela.

Progresiv TM was a Romanian rock/progressive metal band from Timișoara. The band, set up in October 1972, was first called Classic XX, adopting the name Progresiv TM (being inspired by Locomotive GT) in April 1973. The starting formula included vocalist Harry Coradini (real name Harald Kolbl, born February 20, 1944 in Timișoara), guitarist Ladislau Herdina, bassist Zoltan "Zoli" Kovacs, drummer Helmuth "Hely" Moszbruker, and keyboardist Ştefan Péntek.

Originally, PROGRESIV TM were a six-piece, whose bassist, Ilie Stepan, was also a founding member of PRO MUSICA. Their first album, "Dreptul de-a visa", was released in 1973. It features skilfully composed hard rock tunes with plenty of soaring melody and a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies, enhanced by flute interludes somewhat reminiscent of Italian band DELIRIUM. Four years later, after some changes in their line-up, PROGRESIV TM released their second album, "Puterea muzicii", which showed their sound had developed into a more elaborate direction
