Casiotone for the Painfully Alone : Etiquette,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен.

Etiquette is the fourth studio album by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, released in 2006. Etiquette is thought by many to have slightly abandoned the simple Lo-fi "made in a basement" sound by including a more diverse range of instruments and a marginally higher production quality than previous albums. New Year's Kiss" – 2:02. Young Shields" – 3:04. I Love Creedence" – 2:33. Nashville Parthenon" – 2:55. Scattered Pearls" – 2:42. Happy Mother's Day" – 0:47.

What sounds like a major overhaul on the album jacket is less so when applied to the 12 tracks that fill Etiquette's exoskeleton with meat.

Casiotone-man Owen Ashworth sounds like he's trying to provide a soundtrack to that sentiment. The tired plonking of big fingers on little keyboards, the resigned lo-fi mumbling, the slacker-bedroom tale telling- they're tired, morose, frustrated, sick of waiting. You'd think the schtick would get old, but it hasn't; it may be too primal, too basic  . The brief (30-minute) Etiquette is a step forward for him, musically- it complicates things, cleans them up, brings in contributions from his friends, and even conjures up some Postal Service sheen. But the crux of it is still the storytelling.

Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, United States (1977 – present). Casiotone for the Painfully Alone (CFTPA) was the beats-and-keys solo project of singer, songwriter and Chicago resident, Owen Ashworth. Drawing heavy influence from traditional Americana as well as 80's synth pop and commercial hip hop, the music of CFTPA is a curious mix of austere character studies and playful electronic programming. Owen Ashworth started to make music on a small casio keyboard back in 1997

The album wasn’t made entirely on the Casio key board, with Ashworth saying: I’d always wanted to write for other instruments, but I had committed myself to maintain the integrity of my planned trilogy.
