Barbro Margareta Svensson (9 March 1938 – 3 April 2018), better known as Lill-Babs, was a Swedish singer, actress and television presenter. From the early 1950s until her death in 2018, she was one of Sweden's best known and popular singers. She represented Sweden in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes with the song "April, april". She was also well-known for the song "Är du kär i mej ännu Klas-Göran?" ("Are You Still In Love With Me, Klas-Göran?").

The song was the winner of Melodifestivalen 1961, where it was performed by both Siw Malmkvist and Gunnar Wiklund. Sveriges Radio however decided that Lill-Babs would perform the song at the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden.

Lill-Babs (born Barbro Margareta Svensson on 9 March 1938) is a Swedish singer and actress of major notoriety in her native country. Lill-Babs was born in Järvsö, Gävleborg County, the first daughter of Britta and Ragnar Svensson. At age 15 she sang on the radio show Morgonkvisten as a "young talent". In 1961 she represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest with "April, April" in Cannes and participated in the national preselections for the contest both in Sweden and Norway. Lill-Babs and The Beatles, 1963. In October 1963 she guested on Swedish TV show Drop In, broadcast live, and afterwards signed autographs for the Beatles, at the time an up-and-coming band making one of their first international TV appearances on the same show.
