Rupert Everett, May 29, Rupert James Hector Everett is an English actor and author, Born on May 29, 1959, he first came to limelight as a cast in Julian Mitchell play in 1981. He also disclosed his sexual orientation as being a gay, defying all the consequences that came with it. During this period, he released the album Generation of Loneliness. Rupert Everett s career began to rise again playing a supporting role in The Madness of King George and Prêt-á-Porter (Ready to Wear) in 1994. In 1997, he appeared in My Best Friend’s Wedding, playing a gay friend of actor Julia Robert’s character. The film became a huge success, restoring Everett’s reputation in the film industry

Rupert James Hector Everett (/ˈɛvərɪt/; born 29 May 1959) is an English actor, writer and singer. He first came to public attention in 1981, when he was cast in Julian Mitchell's play and subsequent film Another Country (1984) as a gay pupil at an English public school in the 1930s; the role earned him his first BAFTA Award nomination.

Everett recorded and released an album of pop songs entitled Generation of Loneliness. The shift was short-lived, and he only returned to pop indirectly by providing backing vocals for his friend Madonna many years later, on her cover of "American Pie" and on the track "They Can't Take That Away from Me" on Robbie Williams' Swing When You're Winning in 2001. 21. Returned to the public eye in The Comfort of Strangers, and several films of variable success followed. 22. The Italian comics character Dylan Dog, created by Tiziano Sclavi, is graphically inspired by him. 23. Everett, in turn, later appeared in an adaptation of a novel based on Sclavi's novel, Dellamorte Dellamore. 24. His career was revitalised by his award-winning performance in My Best Friend's Wedding, playing Julia Roberts's character's gay friend, followed by Madonna's character's best friend in The Next Best Thing.
