Sneaky Sound System is an Australian dance music group formed in late 2001 by Black Angus (Angus McDonald) on guitar, MC Double D (Daimon Downey) on vocoder and vocals, Damien Hesse (DJ) and Nick Broadhurst on saxophone. They were joined in 2004 by Connie Mitchell (ex-Primary) on vocals; Downey left the band in September 2009, Hesse in 2005 and Broadhurst in 2006.
Sneaky Sound System is the self-titled debut album by Australian music collective, Sneaky Sound System, released on 12 August 2006. It peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and remained in the top 50 for 61 weeks. The album was certified 3 platinum in 2011 for shipment of 210,000 copies. Six singles were released from the album, with four of them reaching the ARIA Singles Chart top 50: "I Love It" (July 2006), "Pictures" (December), "UFO" (April 2007) and "Goodbye" (October).

The duo enlisted studio guru Serban Ghenea to mix the album and it is the first album released under the group's new record label Modular Recordings. It was released 7 October in Australia and New Zealand and 17 October in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Now reduced to just a duo following the departure of MC Double D, Australian dance outfit Sneaky Sound System may have lost a member, but their third album, From Here to Anywhere, shows they're still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the classier end of the floor-filling spectrum.
