Live at the Forum is a live album by the Jackson 5. It was released on June 21, 2010. The concerts were recorded on June 20, 1970 and August 26, 1972 at The Forum, in Inglewood, California. The 1970 show was a record-breaking show of over 18,000 attending. Only having two albums and a couple of singles out, the band were able to draw such a big crowd. This concert is an example of a very early part of their career.

The album's success was largely based on the second single released from the album, "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)", which became a Top 10 single in the spring of 1979. The album eventually peaked at number eleven on the Billboard Pop Albums chart and number three on the Billboard Black Albums chart and went on to Platinum status-cementing it as the first RIAA-certified platinum seller by the Jacksons as most of their Motown recordings were uncertifiable despite their huge success on the charts, and over two million copies worldwide. Initially called The Jackson 5, they changed their name when they switched labels from Motown to Epic, via Philadelphia International Records. At the same time, Randy Jackson replaced his brother Jermaine Jackson, handling percussion and backing vocals. The group’s new recording contract with Epic offered them a more lucrative agreement than they had enjoyed with Motown, although at first they seemed to have exchanged one artistic strait-jacket for another. Between 1981 and the release of Victory in 1984, Michael issued Thriller, which regularly heads the bestselling album of all time list.
