O God the Aftermath" is a very unique sounding album. I haven't found many other artists that come close to the concept of this album. You'll listen to it the first time, and be put off by the clashing disorganized structure. But after a while it really grows on you, and you begin to savor each pounding blow coming out of Norma. The whole album has a very specific tone, and Norma Jean displays an incredible variety of riffs and breakdowns within that specific tone. The good news is, if you like one song, you will probably love the whole album.

Redeemer is Norma Jean's third studio album. It was released on September 12, 2006 in the United States, and on October 3, 2006 in Canada. The album sold more than 21,000 records in its first week. It is the last album to feature drummer Daniel Davison. For this album they filmed videos for "Blueprints for Future Homes", and "Songs Sound Much Sadder". Shannon Crawford, the singer of Cellophane and Monster in the Machine, painted the album artwork. All tracks written by Norma Jean, including where noted.

Listening to the album all the way through will probably bore most listeners, but this album is still a worthy addition to your music collection even if you just throw a song from this album on every once in a while. Fans of dissonant Hardcore, Mathcore and raw Metalcore will love this album and will most likely learn to respect the ideas that Norma Jean had going
