Savage is the sixth studio album by the British pop music duo Eurythmics. It was released on 9 November 1987 by RCA Records. The album peaked at n. in the UK and was certified Platinum by the BPI for sales in excess of 300,000 copies. Following the much more mainstream commercial content of their previous two albums, Savage saw Eurythmics "turn sharp left" (as band member Dave Stewart put it), returning to the much more experimental sound that their early albums incorporated.
