The Bakesys were formed in early 1990 by a group of friends in the Berkshire town of Newbury he late 1980’s & the exploits of such outfits as The Loafers, Hotknives, Busters & No Sports. May 2009 saw the release of a scorching live album by the band on Do The Dog Music titled "Return To The Planet Of The Bakesys!". The 11 track release from recorded at the Batschkapp venue in Frankfurt, Germany. Fast forward to 2017 & The Bakesys released the "Studio Selections 1991 - 1995" CD on Do The Dog Music. The 16 track anthology collected together all the band's studio material to date.

1994 saw The Bakesys undertake our last German tour. It was my fave tour that we did - but I remember being so tired at the end of it I slept in the van from Stuttgart to Calais non stop.
