Description

Traffic is the second album by the English rock band Traffic, released in 1968 on Island Records.

Traffic is the eighth studio album by English band ABC and their first album of original material released in eleven years. The album's songs were written while the band toured the United States in 2006. One critic have described the album as the most "satisfying ABC album since the mid-'80s by far". Drummer David Palmer, who left the band in 1982 after recording The Lexicon of Love, returned to record this album, for which he co-wrote all of the tracks.

Band Name ABC. Album Name Traffic. Лейблы Borough Music. 6. Life Shapes You. 7. One Way Traffic. Other productions from ABC. The Lexicon of Love II. Traffic.

There was only a small club of turns from that period who genuinely delivered on album, and their 1982 debut, The Lexicon Of Love is, along with Dare by the Human League, up there as a bona fide classic of its day. Their special blend of Earth Wind & Fire, Chic and the Sex Pistols.

Since no one expected it, hardly anyone noticed that in 2008, Martin Fry pretty much delivered the album that ABC fans were probably hoping for in 1985. Traffic" thematically revolves about the journeys we humans undertake today, and I'm happy to see another concept album from ABC, following the vein of "Lexicon of Love" or "Alphabet City". In fact, this sounds like the album ABC could have released at the peak of their popularity in the mid-80s.
