The Show" is a song recorded by British girl group Girls Aloud for their second studio album, What Will the Neighbours Say? (2004). It was released by Polydor Records on 28 June 2004, as the lead single from the album. The song was written by Miranda Cooper, Brian Higgins, Lisa Cowling, Jon Shave, and Tim Powell. The synth rhythm, composed by Shave, represents a change in musical direction from the band's previous releases

The Sound of Girls Aloud: The Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album of British girl group Girls Aloud.

Girls Aloud - comprising Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - was formed on the . The act went on to earn 21 top 10 singles on the Official . Singles Chart, the most for any female group in history. The group split up on March 21, 2013, at the conclusion of their Ten: The Hits Tour 2013, which celebrated the act’s 10-year anniversary. All five members have recorded independent of the group, including solo albums from Cheryl, Coyle, Roberts and Walsh. Harding is currently at work on her solo debut.

Three years after Girls Aloud announced they were taking a break, they're back – with a new song, a greatest hits album and a tour next year to celebrate a decade's worth of pop dominance. We were all getting dressed together this morning and it all just felt really normal, like nothing's changed," said Cheryl Cole during a press conference on Friday at the Corinthia hotel, London. However, rumours began to circulate that the five-piece might be reuniting when Walsh, Roberts and Coyle all appeared at Cole's recent solo show at London's O2 arena. And recent hints by Cole that this could be the last hurrah for Girls Aloud? The girls were remaining tight-lipped. We haven't made any plans," said the singer. There's so much preparation gone into this that nobody knows ye. Topics.

Girls Aloud are undoubtedly Britain's biggest girlband at the moment. The chorus is so extremely catchy, and the middle eight is the BEST PART of the entire album. Nicola steals the show with her wailing 'No way ou-ou-ou-out!' bit. It's the best bit of the album. It totally made my day the first time I heard it. 14. Love Bomb (5/5).

Now here's a real novelty: a pop act from a reality TV talent show that continued its success after the furor of the show had died away. In the case of Girls Aloud, they had been a fixture on the pop scene for so long (compared to their contemporaries) that many had almost forgotten which show had originally launched them.
