Coma was derived from an Avant-garde jazz Group from Frederikshavn in 1971 and the skagen Group . In an interview with Coma from 1978 they say that they love Frank Zappa, King Crimson, John Coltrane and Jimi Hendrix, which perfectly describes how their music sounds.

The untitled fifth studio album by Polish rock band Coma, commonly known as Czerwony album (The Red Album), was released on October 11, 2011 through Polish label Mystic Production. It was produced by Tomasz Zalewski. The album debuted at number 5 on the official Polish sales chart OLiS, and charted at number 1 a week later. It was certified platinum.

Coma biography COMA formed in 1971 in Frederikshavn with some of the ex-members of the band RAMASJANG, and some of the earliest members were Uffe MARKUSSEN, Flemming FRIBERG and Jakob MYGIND. The stable line-up of the band was made in 1973 with the addition of Klaus THRANE, Viggo BERTELSEN and Leif CHRISTENSEN, with whom they made their debut Financial Tycoon in 1977.
