The Temptations' "My Girl" is one of the few other examples. The guitar riff in "Something About You" is similar to that in the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," although author Rikky Rooksby claims that the guitar sound in the Four Tops'. Author David A. Carson also remarks on the clean lead guitar at the beginning of the song.
