As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly" is an aphorism which appears in the Book of Proverbs in the Bible - Proverbs 26:11 (Hebrew: כְּ֭כֶלֶב שָׁ֣ב עַל־קֵאֹ֑ו כְּ֝סִ֗יל שֹׁונֶ֥ה בְאִוַּלְתֹּֽו‎ Kəḵeleḇ šāḇ ‘al-qê’ōw; kəsîl, šōwneh ḇə’iwwaltōw. also partially quoted in the New Testament, 2 Peter 2:22. It means that fools are stubbornly inflexible and this is illustrated with the repulsive simile of the dog that eats its vomit again, even though this may be poisonous.

Lyrics for Into the Fire by Kove feat  . Folly Rae. I can see the blind I can see the blind run into the fire You need to find me now Before our sun goes down And all we know is lost forever I burned my whole world down Watched it hit the ground Into the flames, into the fire If you can hear me now Turn my love around Before the flames, before.

CHORUS: It's times like these that make me say Lord if you see me please come my way Leavin bread crumbs for when I stray Rely on sacrifice and the price you paid Feel me like a fingertip (flow fingertip flow fingertip) Sometimes I fall I slip My heartfelt desire be more like you Trying not to quench your fire by th. the hills cause lifes a hassle Encircled by my folly like a moat surround a castle Stay afloat Catch a second wind thin is the air I breathe Teary-eyed nose runnin, wipe the snot on my sleeve I'm callin on my savior to be all that I need Please forgive me my behavior had me lost at light speed.

The dog days are over The dog days are done Can you hear the horses? 'Cause here they come. And I never wanted anything from you Except everything you had and what was left after that too, oh Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back Struck from a great height by someone who should know better than that. The dog days are over The dog days are done Can you hear the horses? 'Cause here they come

Dog Days Are Over" is a song by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine from their debut album Lungs (2009). It was originally scheduled for release on 24 November 2008 through Moshi Moshi Records in the UK as the album's second single, but was later pushed back for release on 1 December 2008

The dog days, I always thought, were those summer days so devastatingly hot that even dogs would lie around on the asphalt, panting. Many people today use the phrase to mean something like that-but originally, the phrase actually had nothing to do with dogs, or even with the lazy days of summer. Instead, it turns out, the dog days refer to the dog star, Sirius, and its position in the heavens. They referred to these days as the hottest time of the year, a period that could bring fever, or even catastrophe. All throughout Greek and Roman literature, you found these things.

Instead, the band sounds the most comfortable with love ballads and working class anthems, from hits "This Ain't a Love Song" and "Lie to Me," to the acoustic "Diamond Ring. In fact, as the years go by, Bon Jovi gets musically stronger. Not only are their best songs stronger now, their playing is more accomplished. Keeping these improvements in mind, it's no surprise that the group.
