Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo Album. Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo. Veröffentlicht am 1998.

Now time to get into the lyrics of "Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo. I'm going to give two examples of lyrics for this, the first one, is of course the sing-a-long lyrics. The lyrics that I think would be the funnest to sing-a-long to, at an Mxpx concert. These lyrics would have to come off of the infamous song that goes by the name of "Party, My House, Be There. For the highlight songs, just choose any of them instead of; Fist Vs. Tact, Theme Fiasco, Get With It and Invitation To Understanding.

MxPx has been around for awhile now, and Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo is their 3rd album and follow-up to "Life in General". has 16 which means by 1998, MxPx already had 54 songs to choose from for set lists at concerts! I originally bought this album because of the song "The Downfall of Western Civilization" but found more solid tracks like "Fist vs. Tact", "Self Serving With a Purpose", "Cold and All Alone" and album closer.

Life in General (1996). Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo (1998). Let It Happen (1998). Singles from Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo. I'm OK, You're OK" Released: May 6, 1998. To generate hype, A&M picked 1,000 of the band's fans and sent them a CD of songs from the album, from April to June 1998. Despite the band's sizable fan base, the label was not approaching the album with high expectations. The vice president of A&M estimated the album would easily achieve 100,000 in sales. On May 6, "I'm OK, You're OK" was sent to modern rock radio stations. The band supported Bad Religion on their tour of Europe in May. Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo was released on June 16 through A&M. From June 30, for five.

MxPx is an American punk rock band from Bremerton, Washington with connections to the Christian punk scene. The band has recorded nine studio albums, four EPs, four compilation albums, a live album, a VHS tape, a DVD and released 20 singles. As of 2012, they have been together for 20 years.

MxPx was one of the first Christian bands to make a name for itself on the pop punk revival scene, and over fifteen years later they are still producing quality records and have an always growing fan base. Clocking in at just over a half hour, this album is typical of a punk record with a very sped up feel, and the new pop radio friendly sound of MxPx found in Secret Weapon is much less present. In fact, one of the only complaints of this album is the surging music that quickly fades away and leaves the listener wanting the song to last more than one minute and forty-five seconds at times.

MxPx received a major distribution deal with A&M Records. This deal first saw a re-release of Life in General. MxPx then released two more studio albums jointly distributed by Tooth & Nail and A&M: Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo was the first in 1998. MxPx spent the majority of 2005 and 2006 touring in support of the band's 7th album Panic. Let's Rock, MxPx's second rarities album, was released on Side One Dummy Records on October 24, 2006
