Call of the Unknown: Selected Pieces 1972-1986. Deuter, one of the first artists on the Kuckuck Schallplatten label, has thirteen titles on Kuckuck Schallplatten, as well as the musical score of a picture poem released on the MonteVideo label entitled The Petrified Forest.

Born in 1945 in post-war Germany in the town of Falkenhagen, Deuter taught himself the guitar, flute, harmonica and "just about every instrument I could get my hands on," though it wasn’t until after a near-fatal car crash in his early twenties that he decided to pursue a career in music. His first release in 1971, titled D, is widely acknowledged as a Krautrock classic. Tibet: Nada Himalaya 2 released: 2005. East of the Full Moon released: 2005. Earth Blue released: 2004.
