Donovan's Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the United States in January 1969 on Epic Records, catalogue BXN 26439 in stereo, and in the United Kingdom in March 1969 on Pye Records, catalogue NPL 18283 in mono and NSPL 18283 in stereo. Donovan's Greatest Hits peaked at on the Billboard 200, and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Epic's Greatest Hits may not be a perfect collection - for instance, it contains re-recordings of his earliest folk songs, "Catch the Wind" and "Colours," not the originals - but for many casual fans, that may not matter since the remaining nine songs offer an excellent summary of his hit singles. And, as these songs prove, Donovan and producer Mickie Most could craft irresistible folk-rock and psychedelic pop singles.

Can't say I have ever listened to a full Donovan album, but whenever Mellow Yellow or Season Of The Witch pop up on the radio or in playlists I tend to turn up the volume just a little, which is always a good sign, no? That in mind, when I saw this cassette in the dollar bin at my local half-price books it seemed worth it.

Greatest Hits is the first compilation album to be released by Australian singer Jason Donovan. The collection was released in 1991. The album featured all his UK hit singles up to this point apart from his recent N. single "Any Dream Will Do", which featured on the cast recording of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (released on the Polydor label). The album reached N. on the UK Charts and a video compilation was released to coincide with the album. The cover photo was taken during sessions for the "When You Come Back to Me" single and was therefore two years old at the time of release. Nothing Can Divide Us" (3:45) from Ten Good Reasons.
