Текст и перевод песни Great Big Sea - Drunken Sailor.

Drunken sailor Lyrics. What shall we do with the drunken sailor? What shall we do with the drunken sailor? What we do with the drunken sailor Earl-eye in the morning? Way hay, when up she rises Way hay, when up she rises Way hay, when up she rises Earl-eye in the morning. Way hay, when up she rises Way hay, when up she rises Way hay, when up she rises Earl-eye in the morning. Put him in the back of paddy wagon Put him in the back of paddy wagon Put him in the back of paddy wagon Earl-eye in the morning. Put him in the bed with the captain's daughter Put him in the bed with the captain's daughter Put him in the bed with the captain's daughter Earl-eye in the morning.

Drunken Sailor" is a sea shanty, also known as "What Shall We Do with a/the Drunken Sailor?". The shanty was sung to accompany certain work tasks aboard sailing ships, especially those that required a bright walking pace. It is believed to originate in the early 19th century or before, during a period when ships' crews, especially those of military vessels, were large enough to permit hauling a rope whilst simply marching along the deck.

Heimweh Nach St. Pauli - Songs Based On His Life Story. Freddy was born on September 27th, 1931 in Vienna, Austria. In his youth he loves the circus, but in 1950 he chooses for music and starts singing in the bars from Hamburg. In 1952 he joins an international competition for the first time in Belfast, Ireland, where he wins the first prize.

On my way back from America I met two ladies: Mrs. Newrich and her daughter. I wanted to make friends with the daughter, but she was not talkative. Her mother, on the contrary seemed to be very talkative and to have a lot of money. I came to this conclusion when I was leaving the dining room, or should I say the restaurant, as I watched how she was paying a 50 dollar bill. The two ladies and I took chairs and sat talking gaily. The sun was down on us and the heat was unbearable  . Presently turning to her daughter she said: - Say something in algebra, dear! - I was beginning to feel sorry for the daughter and to change the subject I said: - I could do with a tropical drink, you know.
