La Marcha del Golazo Solitario. La Marcha del Golazo Solitario (Spanish for The March of The Lonely Huge Goal) Released in 1999 is the ninth studio album from the Argentine Ska Reggae Latin Rock band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs to reach gold. This is the last studio album from the band before taking a 9 years hiatus, combining the best of old with experimentation. Los Condenaditos" unites samba beats to bluesy slide guitar and a wall of horns.
Work (composition, practice, recording) for this album was done between the months of November 1998 and June 1999. Strings were recorded in ". Studios" in Salt Lake City, Utah, by Mike Greene and Aaron Gant. Strings arrangement and direction was done by David Campbell.
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs is an Argentine ska band from Buenos Aires. Formed in 1985, they released their first album, Bares y Fondas (Bars and Boardinghouses), in 1986 and have since released fourteen more albums. They are one of the most influential and most-referenced rock bands of the Latin rock world. The band's sound is a mix of rock, ska, jazz, folk, reggae, funk and big band. It is also noted for its irreverent and humorous lyrics which often contain political undertones.
