Anne Murray tackles country music and does so in her inimitable style. Perfect renditions of classic country tunes in this 2-disc set. I am not a big fan of country, but am a longtime fan of Ms. Murray. You don't need to like country music to enjoy this album. Murray's voice is superb in this 30 track set from 2002 which is nearly 1 hour 45 min in length. Anne's duet with Vince Gill of "Let it be me" is especially beautiful. All songs are here for the first time except the closing track "Tennessee Waltz" which first appeared on her 1978 album "Let's keep it that way" ~ but this version is slightly different. This is great music to slow down and relax with.
