Rusty Shackle are a six piece band from South Wales, UK. Formed in early 2010 Rusty Shackle can be described as an Alternative Folk band, throwing together Guitars, Fiddle, Banjo, Mandola, Trumpet, Bass, Drums and Percussion to give their unique take on Contemporary folk music. Rusty Shackle are a Monmouthshire based folk rock band formed in Caldicot in early 2010. They are a six-piece group made up of band members Liam Collins, Mathew Barwick, George Barrell, Ryan Williams and brothers Scott McKeon and James McKeon. Combining guitars, fiddle, banjo, bass, mandola, trumpet and percussion, Rusty Shackle are influenced by bluegrass, folk, rock, Celtic and old time blues.

The album gets off to a fantastic start with title track The Bones, which was recently released as a single. A light-hearted sounding and infectious track, it gets stuck in your head before you know it and I can’t think of a better way to get the album going. A foot-tappingly good tune that you’ll be singing along to for weeks. Tall Tales is another interesting and catchy track.
