Tequila is an album recorded by jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery that was released in 1966. Tequila is a mixture of tracks using just a jazz quartet with Ron Carter, Grady Tate and Ray Barretto and the rest with a string section arranged by Claus Ogerman. It is mainly a Latin-flavored album, the first Montgomery recorded without a keyboardist. It was reissued on CD in 1999 and 2008 with alternate takes that are listed below.

John Leslie "Wes" Montgomery (March 6, 1923 – June 15, 1968) was an American jazz guitarist. Montgomery was known for an unusual technique of plucking the strings with the side of his thumb which granted him a distinctive sound. He often worked with his brothers Buddy and Monk and with organist Jimmy Smith. Towards the end of his Bop period, and for his ninth studio album, legendary jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery reunited with another musician, originally from Indianapolis, the master of the Hammond B-3, Melvin Rhyne.
