Akiko Grace (ピアニスト、作曲家). Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in Musicology and Berklee College of Music in Piano Performance. In 2002, Akiko Grace released her debut album From New York from Savoy label, as Savoy’s first Japanese artist. Recorded and played with Ron Carter, Gary Peacock, Larry Grenadier, Bill Stewart, Eddie Gomez, Bill Laswell, George Garzone, Kurt Rosenwinkel, to name a few, released 12 albums including analog LP. Akiko Grace won Outstanding Record of the Year Award of National Arts Festival, Japan Jazz Grand Prize of Swing Journal, Best Popular Concert Performance.

Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Class of 2001 · Music · Taito. Berklee College of Music. While attended Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, decided to take a sabbatical study to attend Berklee College of Music, resulted in choosing her second home Boston and eventually NY for the sake of music. In 2002, released debut album From New York from Savoy label, Columbia Music Entertainment Japan as a Savoy's first Japanese artist. 11 leader albums and 1 analog LP has been released.
