の道を, 会いに行く, 坂道を上って, 小さな風景. Kazumasa Oda (小田和正) is a very respected Japanese rock singer who debuted in 1970. Although he has had many hits, one of his most famous is the song "Love Story wa Totsuzen ni" (ラブ・ストーリーは突然に), the theme song to the popular Japanese drama, "Tokyo Love Story". He belonged to the group Off Course.
For their seventh album, in 1979, Off Course added three new permanent members and moved to more of a pop/rock sound. Oda and Suzuki continued to provide the vast majority of the songwriting and lead vocals. After five albums as a five-man band, Suzuki left the group in 1982 to pursue a solo career.
