Amy Millan (born December 3, 1973) is a Canadian indie rock singer and guitarist. Her second solo album, Masters of the Burial, was released by Arts & Crafts Productions in September 2009. Amy Millan grew up in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto.

Not that the album is a lonely affair: Millan enlists plenty of help to help fill out her sound. There's guitar and vocal assistance from Dan and Jenny Whiteley (from Crazy Strings), as well as additional instrumentation from both sets of bandmates.

The country inspirations are apparent from the first few notes. Primarily just guitar and Amy's voice (which is excellent), this song is fairly mediocre, though still charming. It is quite short, like most of the songs on this record.

Her debut solo album, Honey From The Tombs, was released by Arts & Crafts on May 30, 2006. In interviews Amy has stated that the songs on Honey from the Tombs were written over a period of years, but are only now being released. Millan released her sophomore album, Masters of the Burial, on September 8, 2009.
