Gatecrasher: Wet is the third release in the series, following 'Black' and 'Red' previously. Those two blew away their respective audiences and definitely showcased the world of trance in a very fashionable and memorable format. Like wise, whereas Renaissance: The Mix Collection is no doubt the best of pre 1995, Gatecrasher Wet is easily the best dance album of the late 90's. Disc 1 invites you to get out into the heat of the sun and have fun, while Disc 2 just makes you want to get up and throw your arms about! Combined with beautiful, sunny, and bass-filled sounds, this is the ONLY album for the summer.

Gatecrasher is an international clubbing brand made famous by the "Gatecrasher" (later "Crasher") dance music events, which were held at the Gatecrasher One nightclub in Sheffield, UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The promoters of the brand are Simon Raine, Simon Oates and, until 2004, Scott Bond. By August 2014, the only Gatecrasher venue remaining was located in the United Kingdom city of Birmingham. This venus was closed down permanently by the authorities on 25 November 2015.
