Who does a Rockin' Ramrods comp and leaves off the all-time '60s punk classic "She Lied," not to mention five of their other single tracks? Even worse, it's replaced by crappy songs by Puff, who were only tangentially related. This should have just been the complete singles to go along with the unreleased Ramrods tracks. A wealth of genuine Rockin' Ramrods unreleased material from their 1966-67 prime that has circulated among a few '60s/garage collectors was not tapped at all. Though less comprehensive, much harder to find, and of lower fidelity, the French import on Eva - which includes both sides of every one of their eight early singles - still gets the no. .but those flaws may convince some fans to go for this collection instead.
