In 1968 My band We Who Are Recorded Last Trip and Remember When at Fredlow Recording Studio in Waverley Iowa. I actually wrote these songs during lunch our on the Friday before we were to head out to Waverly to record our first record.Greg Coffin, Allen Herron, Greg Riggert and myself Greg Sell. We all like to froze to death on the way when the truck broke down. But we made it. I was 17 at the time. I will never forget that experience to this day. I still play and preform. You can check out Last Trip on my youtube channel. www.youtube.com/gregsell100I would love to have a copy of this album.

The follow-up to the Midwest Vs The Rest and another great selection from the people at Unlimited Productions. Side 1 all midwest burners with a couple of downbeat ones thrown in for variety. The Huns' Destination Lonely has one of the best vocals of the 60s and tons of echo to make it even heavier. The Pagans sing about the nightmare Russian witch Baba Yaga and We Who Are go on their Last Trip. Slightly slower and atmospheric offerings from Dynamic Dischords and The Moanin' Glories. The Royal Flairs is a winner too (same band as The Unlimited on vol.1) - in fact it's all good.Side 2 is from Canada and whatever you might think about the USA's quieter and more reserved neighbour - leave your prejudices at the door because these cats can move. All tracks are geat.Like the previous volume this has never been on CD so grab it if you see it. Only 500 made of each. I got mine in Virgin records way back in the '80s. One day I got vol.1 and the next week the 2nd turned up. I couldn't believe my luck. That was when Virgin was a good record shop (well, it doesn't even exist anymore of course).
