Built On Glass has all the makings of any good pop album. There’s a little bit of Jamie Cullum about it all, but it’s Jamie Cullum with a beard and tats, and less of that yuppy private school boy thing going on. Because despite having the kind of voice that would make your mother go weak at the knees, Chet Faker also has a strong left-field sensibility that appeals to those more discerning music aficionados out there.

Built on Glass is Chet Faker's first studio album. It'll f you up, but in the best way possible. Chet Faker is basically what would happen if you took a young male singer with an angelic voice, beat the s out of him, forced him to smoke a couple packs of cigarettes per day, and then sent him to live with your rad Australian uncle for a couple years. Faker's debut studio album, Built on Glass, was released on 11 April 2014, preceded by the release of its lead single, "Talk Is Cheap", and its accompanying music video on 11 February 2014 In January 2015, it was announced that Faker would perform at the Boston Calling Music Festival in May 2015

Built on Glass isn't so much limited as it is a wonderful mood piece, so think calm and cool with purpose, and then get hip to the restrained and resonating sound of Faker. 75.
