Lee Hazlewood discography. This article presents the discography of American country-pop musician Lee Hazlewood as a recording artist. Trouble is a Lonesome Town (artist: The Shacklefords). Lee Hazlewoodism: Its Cause And Cure.

Well, that could be said of a lot of musicians but certainly not for all of them. With Lee Hazlewood as with many other artists who have both long and eclectic careers, it all depends not only on your own musical tastes but also on the period of that career on which you base your opinion. For instance, I like some of Hazlewood's post-Sinatra output much better than some of that which was issued in his early years.

It's Cause and Cure Tracklist. 1. The Girls In Paris Lyrics. 3. The Old Man and His Guitar Lyrics.

Lee Hazlewood's second album for MGM had something of a split personality, though both sides were an accurate depiction of various sides of his musical mind. Released in 1967, Lee Hazlewoodism: Its Cause and Cure opens with five story-songs, most of which are dramatic narratives in which Hazlewood speaks rather than sings, spinning tales of brave but kind-hearted matadors, pioneer women in love with Indian braves, and old men strumming away their stories. Having struck gold as songwriter and vocal foil for Nancy Sinatra, he signed up to MGM as an artist in his own right, and between 1966 and 1968, produced three ambitious solo albums that were eclectic, idiosyncratic, and most of all, unpredictable. It was a happy time for Lee; his music was hot on the charts, he was fully immersed in his collaboration with his muse, Suzi Jane Hokom
