The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are three coloured main lines on the tube maps. These do however form seven actual routes (with different termini).

North Metro Chorus is the 2018 Sweet Adelines International Champion Chorus! . Some of our members accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge tonight (thank you for the nomination, Circle of Harmony chorus). We are making a donation to ALS. Metro Nashville Chorus was chartered as a Sweet Adelines International chorus in 1971 and has performed and promoted 4-part barbershop harmony in middle Tennessee for more than 40 years. We are blessed to be under the direction of Master Director Kim Wonders. There are almost 25,000 women involved in Sweet Adelines, and more than 600 choruses around the world. Possibly Stockholm’s busiest stations, the T-Centralen metro stop is smack bang in the city with quite a few lines running through it. To find Stockholm’s metro art at T-Centralen, you’ll need to go down a few floors to the Blue Line. It took me about 10-minutes to find it (there are lots of tunnels and escalators), but just ask if you’re not sure. One of the safest ways to know you’ve reached the right line is once you see the blue walls and cave-like tunnels. Once here, you’ll spot the impressive work of Per Olof Ultvedt that literally covers the cave walls with beautiful blue leaves. So Stadion station is possibly one of my favourite of Stockholm’s metro art that appears across the network. Just a few stops from T-Centralen, it’s relatively easy to reach and is perched on the Red Line. Once you get off the train, the rainbow archway is positioned between the two platforms.
