Back in the late 1990s, I made a mixtape I called The Shorts (alluding to the Genesis live album The Way We Walk, Volume One: The Shorts). I wanted to see how many great, but very short songs I could fit on a 93' cassette. Instead of the usual 22 songs, I managed to fit 50 songs ranging from 0'48" (Pink Floyd: "Goodbye Cruel World") to 2'09" (Bob Geldof: "Crucified Me").
