Ballad of Easy Rider is the eighth album by the American rock band the Byrds and was released in November 1969 on Columbia Records (see 1969 in music). The album was named after the song "Ballad of Easy Rider", which had been written by the Byrds' guitarist and singer, Roger McGuinn (with help from Bob Dylan), as the theme song for the 1969 film, Easy Rider

In the 1930s, an elderly Tonto tells a young boy the tale of John Reid, the Lone Ranger. An idealistic lawyer, he rides with his brother and fellow Texas Rangers in pursuit of the notorious Butch Cavendish. Ambushed by the outlaw and left for dead, John Reid is rescued by the renegade Comanche, Tonto, at the insistence of a mysterious white horse and offers to help him to bring Cavendish to justice.

The town of Lone Buzzard was a thriving little community before the Great Tragedy hit. Like the rest of the world, the town was destroyed. But a small group of survivors managed to take refuge inside a nearby cave. It took several years, but the town has been reborn in that cave. Dubbed Lone Phoenix, it stands as humanity's last hope for the survival of civilization. Maybe after saving the town, the townspeople will finally notice her. The Ballad of Lone Phoenix is a game inspired by both retro and modern games alike. The Ballad of Lone Phoenix is a game that looks to bridge the nostalgia of the past with the modern design principles of today. How often will you be posting to this devlog? I post 3 times a week.

"(The Ballad Of) Lone Ranger" isn't an alright song, but as the previous reviewer allan_k said, the b-side, "Chorus Girl" is a phenomenal song. The female vocals remind very closely to some of the best synth-pop vocalists in Europe of that time: Grace Jones, Berlin's vocalist, and even Blondie's Deborah Harry! As for the synthesizer work in this song - it's amazing! Correlating with the beautiful vocals, we hear the sounds building up all the way into the chorus of, "Hold on, hold on! Hold on, hold on!!" Finally, the drum machine work is also A+ in this song, intermittantly appearing throughout the entire song. "Chorus Girl" is an amazing and relatively unknown b-side Italo Disco masterpiece!

Go straight to the B-side. It's a 5-minute Broadway musical, except with actually bearable music. More than bearable, in fact. This is choice stuff. It's almost a Ronny song, except Chris Keane goes for Shirley Bassey instead of Marlene Dietrich.
