Ippocalyptica Not to imply that Diocletian’s excellent later albums, War of All Against All and Gesundrian, were in any way subtle, but what we find on Doom Cult is Diocletian at its most direct and barbaric. This is bestial war metal, through and through, with no frills, no nonsense, and absolutely no mercy. Though most tracks sound very similar here (something that Diocletian would improve upon greatly with subsequent releases), there is really not a lot to criticise on Doom Cult.
