No secret world is the same. With staggering ambition and a remarkable attention to detail, our evenings are ever-evolving but equally enchanting. We have travelled back to the future with Marty McFly, danced under acid rainstorms in a futuristic dystopian China Town, sung our hearts out along the cobbled streets of belle epoch Paris, joined the heroic Rebel Alliance, and had the time of our lives at Kellerman’s Resort. Blade Runner: The Final Cut A Secret Live Experience.

Secret Cinema specialises in "live cinema" experiences, combining film screenings with interactive performances in purpose-built sets. It was founded in 2007 by Fabien Riggall, as a subsidiary of Future Shorts. Secret Cinema creates four types of productions called ‘Secret Worlds’. These include: Secret Cinema Presents: large-scale events showcasing popular films at an undisclosed location.

The nerd is the secret mafia queen PART2.

Title: Revenge of the Nerds (1984). Dudley (Booger) Dawson is about to get married, but the father of the bride doesn't want his daughter to marry a nerd. Following the highly acclaimed and supported by the top DJ names world wide "White Men Can't Funk" release in 2001, after a few more successful 12", Secret Cinema returned with another strong double pack in 2004. Just like the previous one, this is class material, front to back. There is a little something for everybody here. The hard techno heads will get theirs with Discowhip, Crashh and Adventures. The first, one of the most bass heavy techno tunes of all times, and I mean literary: razor sharp filter sweeps cutting through layers of skin deep bass for over seven minutes. Whoa, drop it for whoever thought mr. Verheij had little else but Timeless Altitude tucked under his belt, and let me assure you his eye lashes will melt. The second one, a funky and quirky techno pounder with a potent drum kick and a spine bending bass line, just what you need to give your body a proper work out on the podium. The last one, Adventures, is a phenomenal psychedelic techno burner, introducing a wicked passage some two minutes deep, which would make a fair chunk of psy trance producers run for their money. If you liked Steve Rachmad's releases under the Scorp moniker, or Petar Dundov's classic "Kaskades EP2", then make sure you give this one a spin. A totally crazy sequence layed over furious, fast dance floor orientated percussion! For those who'd want something more laid back, or something for the after hours, you have Clubtakes and See Myself. The first, a relaxed, shining and posistive techno tune, with really great melodies coming together around 02:30. Four to the floor structure with mellow, Detroit synth stabs, absolutely great. See Myself, a remix of which was done by Joris Voorn, might be the hidden jewel here. Just like For My Love was a diamond in the rough, so to speak, on "White Men Can't Funk", this is its equivalent on "Revenge Of A Nerd". Starts out kind of minimal and dull, but soon enough it displays all of its charm and qualities, laying down one after one, multiple melodies and touching, lush pads. Absolutely great, the way in which Jeroen builds an apparently bleak and run of the mill minimal track into a full blown acoustic water pillow, loaded with emotional elements and memorable melodies. This is surely one of his career moments. Just like on the previous 2xLP, there's a track I find slightly less impressive than the rest, and it would be Knock Out this time around. Note that it's far from bad, but when five tracks as magnificent as the ones I've just listed are in its sorrounding, then it just fails to gain the momentum the other ones have. Basically, this is class work. The fact Secret Cinema displays such versatility and skill through a mere six tracks is a complimet few can boast having. This is easily as good as "White Men Can't Funk", and if that seems like an exaggeration, then it's closely behind its heels! Whether you want to incinerate dance floors or spark some exotic plants and kick back, this is a release which should most definitely be in your collection. I cannot recommend this one enough!
