Contributing artists included Climax Golden Twins, Jesse Paul Miller, Steve Roden, Toshiya Tsunoda, Jennifer West, Jim Haynes, Thurston Moore, Marina Rosenfeld and Stephen Vitiello. An installation by Steve Peters and Christine Wallers was also presented at COCA (Center On Contemporary Art).
The sounds were recorded (live and unedited), then transferred to a computer with CDRs being produced on the spot during the run of the exhibition and were limited to 100 copies.
From the liner notes:
"Sound is difficult to contain, it leaks and mingles and overlaps in peristant and naughty ways. In Resonance aimed to embrace this aspect of sound and create a group show in which the works co-existed and resonated together, as sounds do in life. Each of the artists listed below was asked to document how they experienced the show, from overall sounds to sonic details, from visitor comments to footsteps, malfunctions and conversations.

Christopher DeLaurenti (1967-) is a Seattle-based composer, improvisor, and phonographer. His electro-acoustic works are composed of field recordings and often deal with political issues, political protests in particular. His column, The Score, has appeared in the Seattle alt-weekly The Stranger since 2002. His writings have also appeared in 21st Century Music, The Seattle Times, Signal to Noise, Soundscape, Earshot Jazz, and Tablet.
