The Offspring Music History Part Two. From 1998 to 2012. Video dedicated to The Offspring and all their fans

The Offspring is the debut studio album by American punk rock band the Offspring, released on June 15, 1989, by Nemesis Records. After years of discontinued print, the album was re-released by Nitro and Epitaph Records in 1995 with a different album cover. Both the re-releases on the two respective labels are nearly identical. The Offspring has rarely played any songs from this album live.

The Offspring - The Offspring (1989).

Hammerhead (The Offspring song). Hammerhead" is a song by American punk rock band The Offspring. The song is featured as the fourth track on the band's eighth studio album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace (2008) and was released as the first single from the album. The song was first played at the Summer Sonic Festival in 2007. It peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

The Offspring is the first full-length album released by The Offspring, originally released on Nemesis Records in 1989. After the surprise success of Smash, the album was reissued on Epitaph Records in 1995 with a different cover, which marked the first time that it was released on CD. Some copies of that reissue carry the Nitro Records logo

The Offspring’s upcoming album will be their first since Days Go By came out in 2012. Veteran producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue) manned the sessions for the record, making his third straight album working with the Offspring. The fan got exactly what he wished for, with Noodles answering, The album is done. But we had a real productive string this year, in the earlier part of the year, Noodles told Music Feeds in 2018. We had probably five or six songs that we did just right then and it started to feel like maybe this is the direction we should be going with this record. A little bit more straight-forward Offspring stuff. If the Offspring drop their 10th album this year, they’ll be one of dozens of high profile bands to release new music in 2019.

Biography by Stephen Thomas Erlewine. California band that hit paydirt in the 1990s with a slew of anthemic, oft-humorous punk-pop singles. See Full Discography.

Nitro/Epitaph reissued the album on CD (and again on vinyl and cassette) in 1995 after The Offspring gained fame with their third album "Smash", which was released the year before. This reissue features a different artwork instead of the original somewhat controversial "Guitar Alien" front cover artwork, designed by the late Marc Rude.
