Duke Ellington was very productive during 1940 and this reissue has most of his best recordings for Victor (leaving out almost all of the vocals) including "Jack the Bear," two versions of "Ko-Ko," "Concerto for Cootie," "Cotton Tail," "All Too Soon" and "In a Mellotone.
