Athens, GA act Summerbirds in the Cellar have announced 2 and a half weeks worth of dates on the . East Coast set to begin immediately. The band will be supporting their new Slow January Records full-length, With the Hands of the Hunter It All Becomes Dead, produced by Andy LeMaster (Drive-By Truckers, Azure Ray, Now It's Overhead).

Airy indie rock group Summerbirds in the Cellar are a project of Now It's Overhead members Brad Register (vocals, guitar) and Curtis Brown (guitar, keyboard). Tyson Bodiford was added on drums/bass programming and Mike Yardley on electronic percussion. The band's debut, With the Hands of the Hunter It All Becomes Dead, was released on Slow January in 2005. The following year the group went on tour with Now It's Overhead, with Register and Brown playing in both bands. The next record was slated for release sometime in 2007

Notes

One of two LP releases of this album. This one being white with updated colored cover art which included the track "Trains" (originally released as a music video and eventually won the Scion Xpress Festival). The back of the sleeve reads "SJ 0103" (while the etchings on the wax itself read "SJ 0102A/B") as well as giving a copyright of 2005 (when the CD version was released)
