Nino de Angelo (born Domenico Gerhard Gorgoglione on 18th December 1963 in Karlsruhe, Germany) is a German actor and singer of Italian ancestry, being best known for his environmental protest song "Jenseits von Eden" (English: Beyond Eden") that was an interntional hit. His first album, titled 'Junges Blut' (English: 'Young Blood'), came out in March 1983. Playing a melodic pop/rock style, his large popularity in the 80s in both West Germany and East Germany continued for several years, but his career faced some changes later on.
