On ‘Together’, the second EP from Northern Irishman Ejeca for label Needwant, a mix of UK-garage and classic house and techno tropes marry convincingly. Lead single ‘Together’ goes for the jugular, pitting spaced-out chipmunk garage vocals against full throttle house pianos recalling Derrick May’s ‘Strings of Life’, while Terrence Parker subtly beefs up the original on his ‘Motor City Soul Mix’.
