The Mustangs are a British blues rock band that was formed in Hampshire in 2001. They are unusual on the blues rock circuit as their albums are made of entirely original material. The Mustangs were nominated for Best Band at the 2010 British Blues Awards. The band's drummer, Jonathan Bartley, is co-leader of The Green Party of England and Wales

Les Mustangs was the backing band for french teen singer Billy Bridge, and released two singles and an EP in 1962 and 1963. The band consisted of Francois Rolland on lead guitar, Jacques Logel on rhythm guitar, Michel Souillac on bass guitar, and William Brahmi on drums (later replaced with Aldo Sciortino and again with Pierre 'Peter' Sainz). The band formed in the early 60's as 'The Schtroumpfs' (the name of a popular cartoon during that time), playing guitar boogie and 'Shadows' style guitar arrangements.
