Throwdown : Haymaker. Metalcore, USA (2003 - Trustkill Records) Узнать больше. 1. intro (never back down). Never back down, Never give in. Just let the fucking bastards do themselves in.

Haymaker (album), an album by the American metal band Throwdown. Haymaker (band), a Canadian country rock band. Troy Haymakers, a name used by several professional baseball clubs.

Haymaker (2003) by Throwdown. Genres: Metalcore Members: Dave Peters, Dom Macaluso, Matt Mentley, Tommy Love, Ben Dussault. Album (Studio full-length).

Throwdown are essentially your classic hardcore band-breakdowns galore, lots of angry ranting about doing things for yourself, with no t getting in your way and some pretty catchy riffs as well. Ask any Throwdown fan about the bands discography and this will probably be at the top of their list, for it just about manages to rear its ugly head above similar acts and while it does not carve any distinct path of its own, it just about manages to hold itself together to require a second listen.

And when Haymaker is playing, one is inclined to agree with that assertion. For all its bombast and sledgehammer brutality, Haymaker is simply smarter and better constructed than most of 2003's metalcore CDs - which is saying a lot when you consider just how much of a metalcore glut there was that year. Haymaker isn't quite as heavy and dense as some metalcore outings; Throwdown give listeners more room to breathe and don't go out of their way to be exhausting.

Haymaker was pressed on vinyl in 2003 by Trustkill Records and re-pressed in 2008 as a double LP with Vendetta. 2003: 850 copies - blood red & white. 550 copies - blood red. 350 copies - camo. 250 copies - clear black.

Vendetta is the fourth album by the metalcore band Throwdown. This album marks the group's initial shift from hardcore punk to metal. Burn," was the album's lead single. All lyrics written by Dave Peters, all music composed by Throwdown. We Will Rise" – 3:24. Speak the Truth" – 3:16. To Live is to Sacrifice" – 3:48. Give My Life" – 4:07. The World Behind" (featuring Howard Jones formerly of Killswitch Engage) – 4:03.

OK, this album is pretty great for what it is: heavy, beatdown-happy straightedge hardcore with a serious case of Pantera worship and hardcore cliches: loyalty, respect, wishing you were in a real gang, etc. Kinda bro'd out but I like the grooves and beatdown riffs, what can I say?
