Phildelphia’s Sunstroke offer up their debut full-length, Second Floor/Seven, as a split release between Cointoss Records and New Morality Zine. With a dynamic and dimensional record, Sunstroke offer listeners a great LP driven be ambient guitar work, impassioned vocal deliveries, and hardcore punk inspired by the best aspects of Fugazi and Hot Water Music. The LP itself has a very atmospheric tone to it. The production here shines as the songs flow along, none exceeding three and half minutes in length.

Songs from the Second Floor (Swedish: Sånger från andra våningen) is a Swedish black comedy-drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 6 October 2000, written and directed by Roy Andersson. It presents a series of disconnected vignettes that together interrogate aspects of modern life. The film uses many quotations from the work of the Peruvian poet César Vallejo as a recurring motif.
