Scarface: Music from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album featured on the 1983 American crime film, Scarface, which was directed by Brian De Palma. Composed by Italian record producer Giorgio Moroder, the vinyl soundtrack was released on December 9 of the same year through MCA Records. The album features music created by Moroder, who wrote and produced all of the tracks

The World Is Yours is the second studio album by American rapper Scarface. The album was released on August 17, 1993, by Rap-A-Lot Records and Priority Records. The album was not as acclaimed as his debut, Mr. Scarface Is Back, but sold strongly, breaking into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, and peaking at on the R&B/hip hop album chart. Let Me Roll" became a Billboard Hot 100 hit in 1993. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on October 20, 1993.

Scarface’s Deeply Rooted album cover art, tracklist and stream are below: Intro. Rooted (f. Papa Reu). Dope Man Pushin’ (f. F k You Too (f. Z-Ro). Steer (f. Rush Davis). Scarface has announced his upcoming album, Deeply Rooted, the Geto Boys artist’s first full-length album release since 2008’s Emeritus. Deeply Rooted is also slated to be the title of his upcoming book with MySpace Director of Content Benjamin Meadows-Ingram. It talks about my life, Scarface says of the projects in a video teaser about the album and book, which is below.

For me, this is the least of all of Scarface’s solo albums. Presented at the time as his retirement album, Emeritus feels a bit uninspired and forced. Emeritus doesn’t ‘flow’ smoothly because the production lacks in cohesion, the presence of too many guests doesn’t help, and there are no real stand out tracks (unusual for a Scarface album) and a few notable weaker ones (such as High Note ). Scarface’s second solo outing is a solid enough album, but I always felt there was ‘something’ missing. The album doesn’t pack the punch his debut did and certainly doesn’t come close to its 1994 follow-up The Diary. There are a few excellent tracks, the epic Now I Feel Ya chief among them, but overall the album feels slightly less focused than its predecessor and its follow-up.

In 2003, Scarface was remastered and re-released through Universal Records. According to De Palma, Universal wanted to change the original soundtrack for a rap score. After its re-release, the soundtrack debuted in the French Album Chart at number 98. In 2006, the soundtrack was featured in the game Scarface: The World Is Yours, which is based on the film. Diverse songs from hip hop artists sampled songs from the soundtrack. Also, they were featured on the soundtrack of the video game Grand Theft Auto III (2001), on its fictional Flashback 9. radio station.

I find myself enjoying this film when I watch it. Well, perhaps enjoying is a bit of an odd verb when you think of the storyline, its characters, the amount of violence and of course, the f-bomb being dropped about 15,000 times. I like Pacino in this film. He shows us the violent anger we didn't see in Michael Corleone. We're Michael would say, "Never hate your enemies, it clouds your judgement," Tony Montana's out killing everybody. or in the script where you have to laugh.
