This album was a fortuitous combination of an excellent inspired and unique performance along with exceptional recording quality and stereo field. The dynamics and mastering are top notch. On the performance side, this is a completely different take on the familiar Water Music, mostly due to the unusual accents on notes. For example, check out track B1 and compare it to other existing versions. So I was pleasantly surprised at how this album breathed new life into the fairly overexposed Water Music. A great value for the money.
