Jeopardy is the debut studio album by English post-punk band the Sound, released on 1 November 1980 by record label Korova. The album fared poorly commercially, but received critical acclaim. One single, "Heyday", was released from the album. Following their 1979 EP Physical World, the band started work on a full-length album. Impressed by the rough mixes, Korova signed the group.

X-Press 2 first rose to underground prominence through the tracks "Muzik Express" and "London Xpress" which were both released on Junior Boys Own Records. X-Press 2 also gained plaudits on the club scene for regularly playing in clubs with their multi-decked (up to six decks with three DJs) sets. The sound that originated from P-Funk the electronic side of disco, dub music.
